Our Cloth Diaper Experience:
Palmetto Diaper Works was inspired by my youngest daughter, Parker. As soon as she was born she developed a diaper rash that was worse than any I had ever experienced with my oldest daughter. I tried everything to clear the rash and make her more comfortable. Nothing worked. During one of my late night on-line searches for home remedies I stumbled onto some information about diaper rash and cloth diapers. I was curious and desperate so I decided to give cloth diapers a chance. Almost instantly Parker's rash was gone and I was convinced that cloth diapers were the way to go.
Our Goal:
Once I started using cloth diapers, I knew that this was something I wanted to share with other people. I was frustrated that no one had ever suggested the use of cloth to me. This frustration led to the desire to spread the word about cloth diapers. I wanted to make sure that parents knew that there was an alternative to disposable diapers. Palmetto Diaper Works was born.
Currently, we are an on-line retail store. As we grow we will be expanding our product line and resource pages. Soon, we will begin hosting seminars on cloth diapers in our local area in an effort to continue to spread the word about the benefits of cloth diapers.
