About Baby Beehinds' Hemp:
Baby Beehinds' hemp nappies are made from hemp/ certified organic cotton fabric. Hemp is such a great choice for the environmentally conscious parent. Not only is using cloth in general so much better for the environment, but hemp in particular, is the supreme choice for cloth fabric that rests next to your baby's skin. Hemp fabric has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, which inhibits the growth of mould or mildew whilst also helping to keep baby's skin rash free, making hemp the preferred fabric for babies with sensitive skin. Hemp also requires no chemicals to grow. Should your nappy be a hemp/organic cotton blend (such as our Hemp Nappies!) none of the fibers of the fabric will have had exposure to herbicides, pesticides or fungicides. Hemp also requires less water to grow than cotton, so it is friendlier to our environment and less taxing on our Earth's natural resources.
Your hemp nappies will also last and last! Hemp is 10 times stronger than cotton, making it more durable, which is very important considering the constant washing, drying and wearing routine. Not a fan of the bubble-butt look? Hemp is trim! Your baby will find the nappies comfortable and less movement restrictive than traditional terry cloth nappies.
